Welcome to Transcendence Child & Family Therapy!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker,  I have over 20 years of professional experience and training. As a Dayton, Ohio native, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Central State University (Wilberforce, Ohio).   In 1993 I relocated to Atlanta to complete my graduate studies at Clark Atlanta University School of Social Work (Atlanta, Georgia).
 
Over the years, I have provided individual, group, and couples therapy and my clients have ranged from adolescents to the geriatric population. I have also worked in various settings that have afforded me exceptional experience and training within the private practice sector, healthcare setting, home based therapy, residential treatment facilities as well as in the school setting.

My approach is to utilize a plethora of techniques tailored to best fit your needs and address those parts of you that get in the way of a healthy life balance. My belief is that while we are all unique, we all have a common desire to live a harmonious and fulfilling life. Through therapy, I will help you to explore and work through barriers or unexpected crisis to better assist in your journey to a healthier life!
